Print This PostCertain individuals in Georgia are required by state statutes to report suspected child abuse and neglect. There is a system in place to intervene on behalf of children who may be abused or neglected and to secure their safety. In order for this system to function, however, someone must first identify and refer the children who might be in need of protection.
This course was written specifically for individuals employed by the Georgia Department of Education (like public school teachers and principals or school volunteers) in frequent contact with children.
