Bright from the Start: Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning is seeking eligible child and adult care facilities to participate in the Child and Adult Care Food Program.
As expected, the 2015 NAEP results are in line with the statewide Georgia Milestones scores released in September. Those scores showed a lower percentage of students scoring as proficient, compared to the now-retired CRCT.
The children they serve may be small, but the economic impact of the early care and education industry in Georgia is big—generating $4.7 billion in economic activity annually while creating more than 67,000 jobs statewide, according to a new study released by Bright from the Start: Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning.
