Rep. Pedro Marin cares about kids

I got the opportunity early this month to visit Childtime Learning Center in Duluth with Rep. Pedro Marin to celebrate Georgia Pre-K Week.
After getting a wonderful tour of the facility, Pedro and I were placed in very small chairs in front of 30 4-year-olds. Pedro read one of their favorite stories to them. The children were very engaged and I wanted to take all of them home with me.
It was a real treat, not only to spend time with the children, but to spend time with Pedro, used to work at our Family Connection case management site at Rockbridge Elementary many years ago. I’m grateful that he continues to support Georgia Family Connection, the Gwinnett Coalition for Health and Human Services, and Georgia Pre-K.
