Georgia Family Connection Partnership Unveils New Brand
Print This PostRefreshed identity reflects a renewed commitment to cultivating local action, uniting partners, and fostering informed decision-making for Georgia’s communities
Georgia Family Connection Partnership (GaFCP), a public-private partnership created by the State of Georgia and private sector investors, today unveiled a strategic rebrand that reflects its renewed commitment to cultivating local action, strengthening the Georgia Family Connection statewide network of Collaboratives in 159 counties, and equipping leaders to drive informed decision-making and meaningful change.
Georgia Family Connection is a statewide infrastructure and community-driven model established by the Georgia General Assembly to align efforts across sectors and improve outcomes for children, families, and communities. It brings together two distinct but connected forces for change: a statewide network of Collaboratives and GaFCP. Each strengthens the other, together linking coordinated statewide impact to locally driven action.
“GaFCP’s new brand is anchored by a clearer articulation of our mission and value we bring, along with a visual identity that embodies the strength, connection, and shared purpose at the heart of Georgia Family Connection—improving the lives of all Georgians,” said GaFCP Executive Director Gaye Smith. “While our mission remains the same, this rebrand more clearly communicates the Partnership’s role in strengthening communities across Georgia.”
This begins with GaFCP’s new mission statement:
We strengthen Georgia Family Connection Collaboratives in all 159 counties by cultivating local action; we unite partners and leverage resources; and we foster informed decision-making—to improve systems and outcomes for every child, family, and community.
At the center of this work are three core ways GaFCP creates value:
- developing effective statewide partnerships with state leaders, private enterprises, and other stakeholders—linking the Georgia Family Connection network to public and private funding, resources, talent, and innovation;
- uniting the Georgia Family Connection statewide network in a shared framework that promotes consistent, ongoing collaboration and peer learning—equipping Collaboratives in all 159 counties to draw on communities’ collective wisdom and experience across the state; and
- equipping a network of informed decision-makers—empowering leaders across Georgia by making data accessible and providing practical tools, training, and technical assistance to support informed decision-making. We also serve as trusted experts on child and family well-being and community dynamics, sharing insights with state- and national-level audiences.
The Story Behind Our Logo
GaFCP’s new logo is a visual expression of its distinct role within the Georgia Family Connection infrastructure.

“Partnership” appears prominently beneath “Georgia Family Connection,” demonstrating GaFCP’s role to support, strengthen, and sustain local decision-making across Georgia using a data-driven framework.
The three interconnected circles represent the three core strategies that drive GaFCP’s mission:
- developing effective statewide partnerships,
- enabling ongoing collaboration, and
- equipping a network of informed decision-makers.
The outer circles form a subtle infinity symbol—reflecting continuous support, shared learning, and lasting results for Georgia’s children, families, and communities.
The center circle in our signature eggplant color signifies the statewide network. The surrounding green circles illustrate GaFCP wrapping around the network—visually holding it together and reinforcing how that support sustains and unifies action and meaningful change across Georgia.
The color gradient encompasses the five greens that represent Georgia Family Connection’s five result areas that guide our work: healthy children, children primed for school, children succeeding in school, self-sufficient and productive families, and thriving communities.
“We envision a Georgia where every child, family, and community is healthy and thriving,” said Smith. “This is our picture for the future, so letting our trusted, time-tested brand flow through everything we do isn’t something simply expected of us. It’s a privilege we carry every day on behalf of every child, family, and community we serve, whether directly or indirectly. This is the legacy we’re building together with our peers, Collaboratives, partners, and legislators.”
