Seminole County Family Connection is egg-cited about this year’s Easter Egg Scavenger Hunt! Thirteen eggs have been hidden in plain sight within the Donalsonville city limits. Each egg has a sign displaying its sponsor and decorator. There is also a secret word painted on each sign.

To play, participants can pick up a egg scavenger hunt flyer at the Front Porch Marketplace, Southwest Georgia Public Library, or the Piggly Wiggly. The flyer is also located on Family Connection’s Facebook page.

Locate each egg, find its secret word and using the scavenger hunt flyer, write that word in the blank above each egg’s sponsor. Once all the blanks are filled and the message is decoded, participants can drop the flyer off at the drop box outside of the Donalsonville News. There will be a drawing of one winner from all completed flyers received on Saturday, April 8th at Honey Bee Clothing Company.

This event could not be made possible without its sponsors; they are Piggly Wiggly, Diversified Resources, Ferst Readers, Riverside Vet Clinic, Evans Skipper Funeral Home, Lions Club, Donalsonville Hospital, Marsha Bond, Downtown Development Authority, First Port City Bank, Seminole Pole, Georgia Community Bank, and Baldwin Attorney at Law. Happy Hunting!
