Director, Georgia Statewide Afterschool Network
We at the Georgia Statewide Afterschool Network (GSAN) are champions for supporting Georgia’s youth beyond the school day. Our mission is to advance, connect, and support quality after-school programs to promote the success of children and youth throughout Georgia. As a part of that mission, we have created the state’s only searchable map focused solely on helping parents and caregivers locate after-school and summer-learning programs that fit their needs.
Please encourage the after-school and summer-learning programs in your community to go to this map and register for GSAN’s online database. By doing this, you’re helping to create a more diverse and inclusive map of out-of-school time programs across the state.
Programs that join the map help parents and caregivers find their program, promote their missions to prospective donors and community partners, and provide a better picture of the after-school landscape in Georgia.
Thank you for helping to ensure that all children have access to quality after-school and summer-learning programs.
About GSAN
GSAN is a public-private collaborative that envisions a day when all communities in Georgia have the resources to provide exceptional afterschool programming. We are an effective resource for afterschool, before school, and summer learning programs in Georgia. We cultivate environments that allow these programs and the youth they serve to thrive. Our mission includes:
- Providing access to professional development, best practices, and enrichments for current programs.
- Supporting the development of policy priorities and advocacy strategies at the local and state level.
- Engaging families, communities, businesses, and local and state leaders while educating them on the positive impacts of afterschool programming.
