After School Meal Program Now Enrolling
Print This PostThe Georgia Food Bank Association is enrolling after-school programs and childcare centers interested in participating in the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP).
CACFP is a federal program that provides reimbursement for nutritious meals and snacks served to children in child care centers, family day care homes, before/after school programs, and emergency/homeless shelters and to eligible adults in adult care centers.
To participate in the CACFP, your institution must complete an application and undergo a successful pre-operational visit.
If you are interested in participating and do not already have a sponsoring organization that you are currently working with or know of in your community, please contact Torey Repetski of the Georgia Food Bank Association at torey.repetski@georgiafoodbankassociation.org or 404-480-3067 so she can connect you to a sponsor.
