Approximately seventy Head Start students in Cuthbert, Ga., received their first book as participants in the Reads Ferst program. The Reads Ferst program provides a free book per month for youth ages 0 – 5, and is under the umbrella of Randolph County Family Connection. The program was made possible by the Head Start Parent Council, First State Bank of Randolph, Georgia Feed, Pilot Club of Cuthbert, and several anonymous donors.
