2012 State of the State

If you missed Gov. Nathan Deal’s State of the State address last night, you can still watch him lay out his plans for the coming year.

The governor’s FY13 budget would add $100 million for higher education, and $150 million to fully fund enrollment growth in primary education. Pre-k teacher salaries, cut last year, would also be restored.

The Governor’s budget proposal needs approval by the State House and Senate.
