The Get Georgia Reading Campaign introduced a new, redesigned website to better provide community members, organization leaders, and parents with easy access to data, resources, and inspiring stories that will help get all of Georgia’s children on the path to reading on grade level.
The site offers a more engaging user experience with enhanced search, navigation, and content; a cleaner design that responds to laptop, mobile devices, and tablets; and new features like a Community Locator and helpful toolkits.
Users can drill down into the Campaign’s four pillars that work together to provide a platform for success—Language Nutrition, Access, Positive Learning Climate, and Teacher Preparation and Effectiveness—including the research behind them and how they are being applied in Georgia.
The site features resources developed by Campaign partners to support you in your work, including videos, toolkits, reports, training programs, and more. You can also explore state and local data on the wide range of determinants of third-grade reading proficiency.
“We hope our website inspires you to take action so that all children in Georgia become proficient readers by the end of third grade,” said Get Georgia Reading Program Director Arianne Weldon. “This new design truly covers everything—from finding out how to bring your community together to get kids reading, to learning how to apply the four pillars as a framework for action, to helping us spread the word about the great work you are doing.”
