Poverty Task Force in Hart County Leads “Workforce Wednesdays”

The third session of “Workforce Wednesdays” will be held June 11 from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. at the Adult Learning Center.
“Workforce Wednesdays” is an initiative of the workforce sub-committee of the Poverty Task Force, a group created by a partnership of Hart Partners, a Georgia Family Connection Collaborative, and the Archway Partnership at the University of Georgia.
On the second Wednesday of each month, citizens will have the opportunity to work with the organizational partners to create/update resumes, explore local career opportunities, assist with applications, prepare for interviews and find ways to level up their skills.
The ongoing event will take place from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. in the Adult Learning Center beside the Hart County Public Library located at 110 Benson St. Dates include June 11, July 9, Aug. 13, Sept. 10, Oct. 8 and Nov. 12.
Partner organizations include the Archway Partnership, Hart County Chamber of Commerce, Hart County Industrial Building Authority, Technical College System of Georgia and Work Source Georgia.
