Cook County Family Connection
Executive Director Zoe Myers and Toombs County Family Connection Director Paige Williamson co-presented a workshop on Family & Community Engagement at the Georgia Compensatory Educational Leaders (GCEL) Conference in Savannah last month.

Their hour-long workshop focused on Georgia Family Connection systems and the impact of community collaboration on education and health outcomes.

“It was impressive for Family Connection to be included and highlighted at the GCEL conference,” said Myers. “Paige and I felt honored to serve as voices for the Family Connection statewide network.”

More than 500 education leaders from across the state participated in the Georgia Department of Education conference.
